- Why our machines/ equipment’s getting corroded ??
- Performance additives used in the formulation are not compatible with formulations & few are corrosive. There is reaction between the performance additives & base to form corrosive base. Not utilised proper neutralising agents. Proper corrosion inhibitors are not used in the formulations. Use of quality corrosion inhibitors with eight percentages in the formulations.
- Why newly charged fluids also cause heavy mist formation ??
- Quality of Mist control agent is not up to the mark or percentage of use is less. Use proper mist control agents & do he proper mixing in blending stage
- Why we have to use higher concentrations of MWF as compare to other fluids??
- MWF don’t have proper boundary layer lubricants & there is la
- Our customers say that our emulsion-based fluids don’t last long enough. What can I do to improve fluid life?
- Key reason of short fluid life is microbial degradation & quality of surfactant used . This can lead to loss of emulsion stability, corrosion problems, and bad odours.
- Why my fluids generate bad chemical odour especially when machines were started after holiday or week elf off
- Biodegradation of ethanolamines has been shown to lead to ammonia formation. The dissolved ammonium hydroxide can suddenly be released as gaseous ammonia when fluid pH is adjusted upward.
- My customers say that our emulsion-based fluids don’t last long enough. What can I do to improve fluid life?
- Key reason of short fluid life is microbial degradation & quality of surfactant used . This can lead to loss of emulsion stability, corrosion problems, and bad odours.
- How can I select the right additives for my specific formulations?
- It’s totally depending upon the customer’s application & expectations by customer. It is also depend upon the current issues you are facing with your current product
- How can I improve the performance of my fluids in terms of lubricity?
- Depend upon chemistry of your fluid you have to use lubricity additive you can use our ADDMAX Lubricity improver in your formulation
- How can I improve the performance of my fluids in terms of cooling?
- You have to boundary layer lubricants to improve the cooling, these additives increase heat transfer
- How can I make my fluids more cost-effective?
- You have option to use high performance additives which reduces the percentage of component in the formulation which reduces the cost. Check the quality of your existing additives as use percentage is very high
- How can I improve the stability of my emulsions?
- Every product / formulation has its own chemistry so choose the additives properly, many times few additives have high alkalinity or acidity which de-stabilise the formulation.
- How can I extend the life of my fluids?
- Use good quality base oils, use high performance additives, use additives to improve the oxidation resistance. Also use proper biocides in the right percentage
- How can I make my fluids more compatible with different types of metals and machining operations?
- You can use additives which are compatible with multi -metal, select the additives which have PH in the range of 7 to 8
- How can I optimize the use of additives in my formulations?
- You have to check the efficiency of your additives & use highly active additives .You has to select the non-reactive additives
- Which are the ADDMAX additives used to make heavy duty cutting oils??
- Based on application you can use lubricity additives, EP additives or boundary layer lubricants in your formulation. It’s better to go for semi synthetic or pure synthetic for heavy duty applications.
- ADDMAX additives are compatible with our soluble oils, Semi Synthetic??
- Yes we have specialised additives for soluble oils, semi synthetic & synthetic also.
- Can ADDMAX Additives replace amines from our formulations???
- Yes there are many effective & efficient products to replace amines. In fact there are many eco alternative additives based on ester based chemistries.
- What are ADDMAX Eco metal working additives??
- Performance additives which are totally free from Chlorine, Amines, or petrochemicals
- Can ADDMAX additives are useful to make mineral oil free metal working fluid??
- Yes, it’s possible to make mineral oil free products by using synthetic additives & bases
- Do you have alternative to replace hazardous chlorinated paraffin’s?
- Yes there are amide based additives which can replace hazardous chlorinated paraffin’s
- Can we use ADDMAX Additives for our semi synthetic fluids?
- Yes ADDMAX additives are compatible with semi synthetic fluids, we have specialised additives for semi synthetic & synthetic
- What is percentage of ADDMAX lubricity additive in the formulation?
- You can use it from 3 to 10 % lubricity additive in the formulation
- Does ADDMAX rust inhibitors are AMINE free
- Yes AMINE additives are free from AMINE
